How to Create an Invoice
After requesting an investigation for a patient and proceeding to Check Out, you will be prompted to create an invoice immediately. Follow the on-screen prompts to finalize the invoice creation process. If the investigation has already been requested but the invoice was not created at that time, you can generate the invoice from the Laboratory Queue Go to the Laboratory Queue. Use the search bar to find the patient's name or ID. On the far right of the patient’s card, click the dropdown menu to view the list of investigations requested for that patient. Locate the investigations to be invoiced, ensure their status is marked as “Requested.” Click the Burger menu (⋮) on the far right of the investigation item. Select Create Invoice from the options provided. Once you create the invoice, the status of the investigation will update from "Requested" to "Invoiced," indicating that billing has been successfully initiated. How to Record a Sample
Click on the test request.
Select “Record Sample”.
Input sample details: type, time collected, collector’s name.
Save to confirm collection.
How to View Test Results
Open the Laboratory Queue Dashboard. Search for the patient using the search bar at the top by entering their name or patient ID. Alternatively, you can scroll through the list of patients displayed on the dashboard. Identify the correct patient whose test results you need to access. Expand the patient’s test list by clicking the dropdown arrow (▼) on the right side of their card. Locate the specific test you want to review. Ensure the test status is marked with a green "Result Ready" indicator. Access the test actions by clicking the burger menu (⋮) on the far right of the test row. Select "View Test Result" from the dropdown menu to open and review the result. Additional Options
If you need to enter results for a test, click the "Enter test result" button To view more information about the test, select "View test info" For billing information, choose "View invoice" from the options
How to Download PDF
Open the Laboratory Queue Dashboard. Search for the patient using the search bar at the top by entering their name or patient ID. Identify the correct patient whose test result you want to download. Expand the patient’s test list by clicking the dropdown arrow (▼) on the right side of their card. Locate the specific test for which you need the result. Ensure the test status is marked with a green "Result Ready" indicator. Click the burger menu (⋮) on the far right of the test row to access additional actions. Select "Download PDF" from the dropdown menu to download the test result in PDF format. How to View Invoice

Locate the specific test for which you need the invoice, ensuring the test has already been paid for. Click the burger menu (⋮) at the far right of the test row to reveal additional actions. Select "View Invoice" from the dropdown menu. You can then download the invoice if needed using the Download button.
How to Recognize a Patient with Insurance
Open the Laboratory Queue Dashboard. Search for the patient using the search bar at the top by entering their name or patient ID. Alternatively, you can scroll through the list of patients displayed on the dashboard. Patients with active insurance have an orange tint at the left end of their name card. How to Pay with Insurance
Ensure the patient has an active and valid insurance plan. Proceed to order the necessary laboratory investigations. After requesting the investigation, generate the patient's invoice. On the payment screen, choose "Pay via NHIS" as the payment method. Click "Continue to Pay" to finalize the payment process. How to Switch Roles
Click on your profile icon on the top-right corner of the screen. From the dropdown, select “Switch Role”. Choose from available roles (e.g., Front Desk, Admin) based on access rights. Your interface will reload to reflect the permissions and features of the selected role.
